36 Weeks

How far along: 36 Weeks

Total weight gain: Earlier this week I was at 32lbs. :(

Maternity clothes: Yes

Stretch marks: No

Sleep: I wake up often to switch sides.. and rolling over hurts my lower abdomen :/ I had some weird dreams last night, too!

Best moment of this week: Had people over Tuesday night for Steve's birthday. It wore me out cooking & cleaning all day (which is sad, because I am home & really should just keep the house clean all the time anyway!) but it was nice seeing him happy and having a good time. :)

Miss anything: My pre-pregnancy body & being able to workout hard

Movement: Yes

Food cravings: nope

Anything making you queasy or sick: No

Have you started to show yetYES.

Gender: girl

Labor signs: just braxton hicks

Belly button in or out: In

Wedding rings on or off: off

Happy or moody most of the time: Probably going to have to go with moody

Looking forward to: having this baby!! I can't wait to hold her!!!

Exercise: some walking, elliptical, biking & stair master. Elliptical & stair master are the easiest way for me to do intervals and get my heart rate up. I've done some machines this week and dumbbells/body weight exercises at home. Not doing squats because I read to not do them if baby is OP - it can prevent them from turning OA by allowing them to go lower into hips? I don't know how accurate it is. It's getting VERY hard to motivate myself to exercise. :/

additional symptoms: I often cannot sleep on my right side anymore - I wake up with a sharp pain near the middle of my ribs where I'm laying. It occasionally happens on the left side, but not often. I get sharp round ligament pains (ouch!) every time I roll over in bed, which is often, so that wakes me up even if I'm not getting up to go to the restroom. The last few weeks discharge had decreased, but it's back up this week. One day I felt like it was a LOT, but it's been pretty much the same amount other wise (I change panty-liners a couple times a day. May be more than necessary or what other preggo's do - I just can't stand any moisture at all down there.) Mild hip & back aches - my back really hurt on Steve's birthday after cleaning most of the house. I have not had constipation lately - I wish I could say that it was probably because I've been eating great, but this week I've had a ton of sweets and junk :( Still tired.
I get anxious and overwhelmed when family members and friends talk about babysitting or just spending time over with the baby. Having company on top of all the life adjustments we'll be going through sounds so overwhelming. I hope I am more gracious when the time comes than I think I will be, haha. I'm such a homebody and love my alone time with Steve, it's hard to imagine having people over often even without a baby. Something else for me to pray about about and cast my cares upon the Lord, right? ;) I'm so glad I have a big God that can take it all - I have so many worries and anxieties I pray about so often.

35 Weeks - WOW!

Had an appointment with our midwife yesterday. She did a bedside ultrasound and baby is facing up. Hopefully by doing cat cows every day I can get her to turn and face the other way.   Labor and tearing will be worse if she doesn't. So that was really discouraging. Also it took every ounce of energy I had to not bawl like a baby when I saw that I'd gained another three pounds since my last appointment. I was not expecting that - I've been eating so much better and getting in great workouts!
I'm wearing thin. And I have so many more weeks left...
How far along: 35 Weeks

Total weight gain: 30lbs -and that's after counting my calories and watching what I'm eating! Eek! Maybe I'm still eating too much??

Maternity clothes: Yes

Stretch marks: No

Sleep: I wake up often to switch sides.. and rolling over hurts my lower abdomen :/ I had some weird dreams last night, too!

Best moment of this week

Miss anything: BEING SKINNY. Being able to move like a normal person.

Movement: Yes

Food cravings: not really

Anything making you queasy or sick: No

Have you started to show yetYES.

Gender: girl

Labor signs: no

Belly button in or out: In

Wedding rings on or off: off

Happy or moody most of the time: happy, yesterday I was very moody, though, and weepy!

Looking forward to: being skinny again!!!

Exercise: Most days - I haven't been lifting regularly, probably should be.

additional symptoms: I've been taking prevacid for heart burn and that's helped. Getting menstrual like cramps more often and I think they're getting a little worse. Still nothing like while I'm on my period, though. Lots of round ligament pain. Also I get occasional pressure/pain in my crotch - very different than round ligament pain. I forgot to mention this to my midwife. No clue what it means, if anything. From what I've read, it seems like it's just baby getting lower and ready for L&D.

34 Weeks

How far along: 34 Weeks

Total weight gain: 27lbs - my butt is huge.

Maternity clothes: Yes

Stretch marks: No

Sleep: Not great - it only gets harder and harder to get comfortable and get out of bed

Best moment of this week: Well last week (I forgot to blog) we found out baby is head down - yay! This weekend we are putting together the crib so that will fun!

Miss anything: BEING SKINNY. Being able to move like a normal person.

Movement: Yes

Food cravings: PB&J on ezekiel bread every day!

Anything making you queasy or sick: No, just really bad heart burn! Had an allergic reaction to Zantac, so I'm taking prevacid now and that's working so far! It was SO bad!

Have you started to show yetYES.

Gender: girl

Labor signs: no

Belly button in or out: In

Wedding rings on or off: off

Happy or moody most of the time: Happy? More like just tired!

Looking forward to: losing weight already!!!

Exercise: Most days I'm still working out. Yesterday I took off to focus on cleaning the house - I'm going to have to do that more often. I've been using most of my energy for workouts, then crash the rest of the day and am too tired to do anything. So I'm going to start focusing the day on doing things around the house & then exercise in the evening if I'm feeling up to it. Worked out well today :) Walking is pretty uncomfortable so I'm going to bike more, and I would like to utilize my gym membership more to do the elliptical as well as machines. I'm definitely a lot weaker :(

additional symptoms: I have a very hard time getting comfortable sitting in any given place. The last two weeks I've been napping a lot more and seem to be more easily fatigued. Heart burn came back last week like I mentioned above - much worse than first trimester. Tums won't touch it now. My nipples are bigger. GROSS. I look like I will be a lactating queen! I haven't had any constipation lately.. for a while, now that I think about it. I've gone back to not wanting to eat meat again, so my appetite seems pretty much back to pre-pregnancy. I've been feeling menstrual-like cramping the last couple weeks - similar to first trimester, but not as bad.

32 Weeks

How far along: 32 Weeks

Total weight gain: 26lbs :( I'm not sure how I won't gain more, but that's as much as I wanted to gain the entire pregnancy. Eating healthier the past few weeks has helped - hopefully I'll do better and better in that area.

Maternity clothes: Yes

Stretch marks: No

Sleep: Sucks - OH, and I snore now.

Best moment of this week: Noticing weight gain slowing as I eat less junk food has been encouraging!

Miss anything: Old clothes! Heels!

Movement: Tons! Much more in my ribs lately.

Food cravings: quiche haha

Anything making you queasy or sick: No

Have you started to show yetYES. Strangers ask me pregnancy details now.

Gender: girl

Labor signs: no

Belly button in or out: In

Wedding rings on or off: Just took it off - still have the indention from the ring haha. It is getting pretty tight so I thought I should probably just take it off while I still can

Happy or moody most of the time: Happy

Looking forward to: baby shower this weekend! also trying a barre class!

Exercise: Following the Tone It Up fall challenge workouts, modifying as needed. Some days I'm more motivated to workout than others, but the TIU community is pretty encouraging & motivating!

additional symptoms: Shortness of breath, waking up wide awake at random times, 4 am or 7am for example. I can usually go back to sleep after half an hour or so.. Heart burn, still having some muscle/ligament pulling near my pelvic bone, I've cried more this week so possibly more emotional?

I'm becoming more and more concerned about Mini Mueller not flipping. Our doula gave us some exercises to do at home that I'm definitely going to make sure we do every night! Last appointment she was breech, but Leanna wasn't concerned. Hopefully she'll be head down next Wednesday and stay that way! :) Of course, she really could be now and I just don't know it. Steve actually has an easier time guessing what's what when she's moving.
